Description | The proposed project consists of an unfunded Risk Sharing Facility (“RSF”) in an amount of up to US$10 million equivalent in local currency, which will guarantee 50% of an up to ~US$20 million (local currency equivalent) portfolio of loans to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to be originated by the Bank. The RSF (the “Project”) will support the Bank in increasing its lending to SMEs, particularly Women-owned SMEs (WSMEs). The proposed project is conceived as the initial pilot of a multi-phase implementation, with the possibility of expansion to other key subsidiaries. |
