Description
Description | The CDIL facility in Mohali, operational since 1964, will undergo a major brownfield expansion to diversify into Power Semiconductor Devices. The new lines will manufacture advanced technologies including high-power MOSFETs, IGBTs, Schottky Bypass Diodes, and Silicon as well as Silicon Carbide transistors. The expansion will increase the facility's capacity to 750 million devices per year, producing an additional 158.38 million units annually. This project aims to support electric vehicles, renewable energy systems, power conversion technologies, industrial equipment, and communication infrastructure, creating high-skilled jobs and fostering innovation in Punjab's semiconductor ecosystem. |
