Description
Description | CeADAR, Ireland's Centre for Applied AI, was appointed as the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) for Artificial Intelligence in Ireland follwing success in the previous call DIGITAL-2021-EDIH-INITIAL-01. Operating as a single entitiy, the CeADAR EDIH programme started in September 2023 and has already established the foundation, mechanisms and services to enable the continuation of the programme by capitalising on its current success. Its strategy is based on delivering AI advisory and protoype development services via the test-before-invest to achieve real AI adoption in SMEs and PSOs, while reaching and benfitting a large number of organisations via its support to find investment, skills development and ecosystem buiding services. This project presents the required activities and structure to both continue operations of the CeADAR EDIH, while at the same time expanding its reach to serve a larger number of organisations by collaborating at both national and EU levels with EDIHs and other EU stakeholders. This strategy seeks to leverage the power of EU AI Infrastructure via strategic and more structured collaborations, fullfilling the aim of the AI Continent Action Plan and EU Digital Strategy with a focus on Applied AI to increase digitalisation and AI maturity of Start-ups, SMEs, mid-caps and PSOs. |
