CEDESK LT will promote Creative Europe programme at national level by organization of and participation in major national and regional events, communicating information to stakeholders using website, newsletters, social media and other tools. It will also assist the cultural and creative sectors regarding the programme and provide information on the various types of aid available under the union policy: one to one meetings, on-line and off-line consultations, dedicated training sessions and other proper means. CEDESK Lithuania will stimulate cross-border cooperation between professionals, institutions and networks by collaboration with Creative Europe Desks in participating countries, intermediation between professionals, institutions and networks and deepening of cooperation with established partners. Desk will continue to support European Commission in ensuring proper communication and dissemination of the results and impacts of the programme by bringing the results of the Creative Europe programme to the knowledge of political, economic and administrative authorities and audiovisual and cultural professionals, highlighting Lithuanian and other countries’ success stories and projects and personalities behind them. Desk will also work on identification of the best practice projects in Lithuania and collect the indicators and data on the financed projects and their results. In 2020 Desk will focus on increasing sectors skills in fundraising generally, methodologies and tools of eligibility in CE, also focus on educating applicants with the understanding and implementing new priorities within Cooperation projects: culture heritage and inclusion of refugees and migrants. MEDIA Office will keep supporting activities which promote women empowerment and gender equality in the audiovisual industry on both local and European level, also tackle horizontal values such as environmental challenge, social inclusion, diversity.
