The Cedar Bay Community Stable Rehabilitation project (the Project) consists of rehabilitation and expansion work to the Friend of Cedar Bay stable and related infrastructure. The Project scope includes: • an upgrade to the electrical system to bring it up to code and extend the electricity line to the pavilion where instruction and community events takes place; and • the demolition and reconstruction of a new accessible outhouse with washrooms; and • the purchase of a new tractor since the old one is reaching the end of its serviceable life. This non-fixed asset is essential for the proper functioning of the stable as it is used to move hay bales, manure piles and snow, and maintain the stable grounds. The Project is expected to result in an increase in the usage, safety and accessibility of the stable as a community gathering hub for events such as birthday parties, community holiday events, horse shows, horse riding lessons and therapeutic programs.
