Description | The overall objective of the project is to retrofit or upgrade 23 locomotives (including 1 prototype and 22 serial units) to ETCS Level 2 Baseline 3 for operations on the core network corridors in Germany, Austria, Hungary, Romania, The Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia and Poland. The project will consist of the following deployment of ETCS Level 2 Baseline3: • Upgrade of hardware and software in 6 BR187/TRAXX F160 AC3 vehicles for WLC; • Upgrade of hardware and software in 6 BR186/TRAXX F140 MS2 vehicles for LTE; • Retrofit of hardware and software in 6 SIEMENS BR2016 Herkules (or called as well Eurorunner ER20) • Upgrade of hardware and software in SIEMENS ES64U4-1216 in one prototype and then serial installation in 3 units for LTE and Adria • Upgrade of hardware and software in 1 SIEMENS BR 1193 Vectron for WLC. |
