Central Bluffs Power Substation and Utility Line Relocation

Colorado Springs Utilities (CSU) has started a utility line relocation project along a mile of Austin Bluffs Parkway between Meadowland Boulevard and Union Boulevard. This is the first phase of a larger project to construct the Central Bluffs power substation at the intersection of Austin Bluffs and Goldenrod Drive. The project involves relocating water, wastewater, fiber, gas, and electric infrastructure underground. The utility line relocation is scheduled for completion in mid-November, while the substation construction will be completed by late next year.
