Description | The Centre Dufferin Recreation Complex Pitched Roof Replacement project (the Project) consists of a full replacement of the recreation complex’s roof which is currently in a poor condition. The Project involves the installation of a new roofing system which will include a hot applied built up roof membrane, a vapor retarder, top overlay board, bottom insulation, flashing membrane, roofing membrane, and waterproofing. The Project is expected to result in an improved quality of recreational services by preventing incidents resulting from water leakages e.g. arena closures, ice surface damage public slipping and reduce lifecycle costs related to the maintenance of the facility. |
