CESEAND Plus “Centre of Services for European Affairs in Andalusia” Consortium, as the Enterprise Europe Network branch in Andalusia (south of Spain) aims to promote growth and to strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of the Andalusian enterprises, especially SMEs, encouraging an entrepreneurial culture in Andalusia, Ceuta and Melilla. In order to reach the general objective, CESEAND Plus will provide a full range of integrated business support services to: • Increase the number of Andalusian SMEs linked with other entities across Europe for cross-border business cooperation, technology and knowledge transfer and technology and innovation partnerships. • Raise the rate of Andalusian SMEs exporting within the Single Market. • Increase the rate of Andalusian SMEs exporting outside Europe. • Contribute to a better understanding of Andalusian SMEs of EU legislation and of opportunities offered by EU programmes and EU access to finance • Ameliorate the knowledge of EU institutions of SMEs opinions, difficulties and expectations The provision of the services and the implementation of the activities by CESEAND plus Consortium is based on the proximity of the services to SMEs. Such proximity is possible thanks to the coverage of the geographical area, guaranteed by the wide presence of the Consortium members in the region with more than 50 offices. The Consortium has consolidated its position in the region as “one stop shop” for business and innovation support services in the region and has established and reinforced links with local and regional stakeholders to increase the visibility of the Network and to avoid duplications in the provision of the services. CESEAND Consortium is composed by 5 host organizations with more than 20 years of experience in innovation and internationalization issues. All the partners have been involved in the Network since 2008.
