Description | The Century House Restaurant in Latham will close at the end of the year for redevelopment. The redevelopment plan includes construction of 52 apartment units, addition of 30 rooms to The Inn at the Century House for extended stays, a new lobby, and a new four-way traffic signal on Route 9 at Century Hill Drive. The restaurant will reopen as Century House Tavern in a new building nearby, attached to a small building on the northwest corner of the property fronting Route 9. The Inn at Century House hotel will remain open throughout construction. The project has concept approval from the Colonie Planning Board but has not yet received final approval. Construction is expected to begin next fall and take about a year. |
