The action plan of the CERV National Contact Point Cyprus (CERV NCP CY) stress on enhancing awareness, capacity and innovative participation of Cyprus beneficiaries in the CERV programme through over 40 events, engaging 2,000+ participants in one year. Those, among others include public authorities, civil society, academia, media, and general audiences in Cyprus and beyond. Special focus targets underrepresented regions and groups, offering user-friendly resources, training, and networking to improve proposal competitiveness. By operating simultaneously the NCP for CERV, the Creative Europe and the New European Bauhaus, the Organization for European Programmes and Cultural Relations unlocks potential of its pivotal role, outreaching a number of social players. Its participation in European cultural and policy networks further strengthens cross-border cooperation and capacity-building components of the action plan. By 2026, the action plan aims to boost the number and the success rate of Cyprus-led applications fostering societal impact and innovation aligned with both, the EU values and principles and its political agendas. Methodologies include stakeholder mapping, targeted outreach via events and digital platforms, and capacity and skill building through live and online info sessions and trainings. Collaboration with national and EU-level stakeholders ensures broad dissemination, while tailored support addresses marginalized groups, mainstreaming gender equality and non-discrimination contributing to the EU overarching priorities. To maximize visibility, communication strategies employ a dedicated website, newsletters, and social media. Evaluation tools, such as surveys and impact assessments will guide ongoing improvements. Synergies with other EU programmes and initiatives will amplify outcomes while driving societal transformation reflecting EU’s commitment to empower local stakeholders to actively participate in and benefit from the CERV programme.
