Lithuanian National Contact Point application for EU action grants in the field of Programme Contact Points under the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Value Programme (CERV). As the EU CERV programme continues to be the main instrument for EU policy goals on rights, equality and values, it is important for EU member states to keep promoting this instrument and to show its added value on national level and to disseminate EU policy goals and the opportunities, provided by the Programme, widely in national, regional and local level. In order to support the European Commission (EC) and the Executive Agency (EACEA) in the implementation of the Programme, to assist applicants, stakeholders and beneficiaries with respect to all aspects of the Programme, to attract new applicants, and to facilitate the participation of the Programme's stakeholders in Lithuania, National Contact Point (NCP) will continue and expand its activities. Since the CERV programme has entered into the second part of its first Multiannual financial framework 2021-2027 (MFF) and the awareness of it is increasing (this is reflected in the rapidly growing number of applications received), NCP will continue its work on increasing CERV visibility and accessibility to potential applicants in different parts of Lithuania, especially in the most remote areas from the country's major cities, but also will concentrate more to reach better quality of project applications and to show Programme’s added value by sharing the results and success stories in order to encourage meaningful participation of the applicants.
