Following the nomination of MJ as the National Contact Point (NCP) for CERV in the past few years, a dedicated structure has been created and maintained with the purpose of supporting the European Commission and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency in the implementation of the CERV programme in Portugal. This novel project can be seen as a natural follow-up of the previous ones, therefore it will ensure the continuity of the work and maintenance and update of already implemented tools and actions that are aimed to assist potential applicants, share information with stakeholders and raise awareness of the general public to the results from initiatives promoted and funded by CERV. In this sense, the CERV-PT team will be focused in the following high-level tasks: - Provide information, tailored for Portuguese stakeholders and potential beneficiaries, about CERV and policy initiatives in the areas covered by the programme through the organization of dedicated events; - Increase knowledge and awareness of CERV results through the dissemination of best practice projects, especially those with leadership and/or participation of National entities; - Supporting potential applicants by sharing information, implementing training/coaching actions to enhance the level of participation of National entities to the available funds under CERV; - Developing tailored materials for the promotion of CERV (such as leaflets, newsletters, videos, pictures, brochures, digital content, etc.), as well as maintaining and updating the dedicated website and newsletter. Through the successful implementation of the project, MJ as the CERV NCP expects that more projects on the domains promoted by CERV will be developed by Portuguese stakeholders, which in the end will impact on how informed and aware Portuguese citizens will be regarding the Values and Principles promoted by CERV, ultimately contributing to a fairer and more inclusive society.
