Through over 40 events with over 2000 participants, including live, online, communication and dissemination activities, the CERV National Contact Point Cyprus (NCP CY) will promote the programme in all areas of Cyprus and beyond. It will detect and support potential applicants, by approaching over 500 public authorities (of local, regional, and national levels), private and civil society organizations, with an emphasis on the non-profit sector, as well as specialized audiences including academia, journalists, corps diplomatique and other general audiences. By covering practically, the entire population of the island through various electronic and printed channels, NCP CY will build awareness about the programme and its objectives, targeting particularly regions which have not participated in any similar EU initiatives before. It will provide practical and user-friendly information, impartial guidance, and assistance to the potential beneficiaries, while enhancing the competitiveness of their proposals through capacity building, training, and networking activities. By outreaching all Cyprus districts and presenting all strands of the programme, it will facilitate the synergies between actors on local, national and European level. As a result, the NCP CY will produce numerous outputs including the databases, a website with a compendium of success-stories, newsletters, presentations, audio-visual material, social media content, and other promotion materials, all documented in thematic reports. CERV NCP CY work will be systematically evaluated, and the final findings will be available to the national and EU authorities, while also used for the further improvement of the working methods in the years to come.
