Description | The purpose of this activity is to increase the availability and accessibility of high quality cervical cancer screening services for HIV infected women in Zimbabwe. A “screen-and-treat” approach is recommended for the management of precancerous lesions to maximize opportunities for immediate cryotherapy treatment for eligible women without the need for diagnostic pathology confirmation and subsequent reduction of loss to follow-up. This activity will apply PEPFAR guidance to target HIV positive women above 30 years of age for screening every two years. |
