Description | Information Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited [BPCL] has come up with CGD Pipeline Project in Ahmednagar - Aurangabad GA with a ticket size of 3972.18 INR Crores. This project in Bulk Material Transportation Pipelines sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Notice to Proceed and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project Bharat Gas Resources Ltd. [BGRL], 100percentage subsidiary of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. [BPCL], has been granted authorization for developing CNG & City Gas Distribution network in the Geographical Areas [GA] of Ahmednagar and Aurangabad district of Maharashtra by Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board [PNGRB] of GOI as a part of Vision 2030 - Natural Gas Infrastructure in India. The project envisages laying of 24 inch, 18 inch and 16 inch diameter pipeline of cumulative length approx. 269 km in Ahmednagar and Aurangabad District of Maharashtra and development of City Gas Distribution Network in GA of Ahmednagar and Aurangabad District. Pipeline laying work is in progress in all Spreads of Ahmednagar & Aurangabad District. Anticipated date of completion- CGD Network - Completion by September 2028. BGRL has amalgamated with BPCL w.e.f 16th August 2022. |
