Description | The CGN's 2 million kilowatt wind power hydrogen production integrated demonstration project started construction on September 21st, 2024. It is located in Xing'an League Economic and Technological Development Zone, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China. The sponsor is China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN). The project is implemented in two phases, with the first phase planning to build a 1000MW wind power hydrogen production integration with a total investment of $1.012 billion (7.14 billion yuan), and is scheduled to be put into operation in December 2025. After the project is completed, it is expected to generate 6.78 billion kilowatt-hours of wind power annually and produce 108,000 tons of hydrogen annually, providing support for Xing'an League grid. https://wind.imarine.cn/news/101164.html |
