Charles V in Europe

Charles V in Europe. This project takes primary school students on a journey to travel without moving from our school, through Europe following the footsteps of Emperor Charles V. They will learn about the history and diversity of Europe and discover how the European Union has developed and what it means to the countries involved. The students will explore historical sites, understand cooperation among European nations, and appreciate a shared heritage that binds them. The students will know further about the European history and will also develop the sense of unity and belongingness to the European community. They will also acquire knowledge about the cardinal values underpinning the European Union such as respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, and rule of law.
