This is to design and carry out construction work for rehabilitating the existing aged Pump Station. The work includes: - Upgrading existing aged and inefficient equipment (pumps, valves and electrical) - Upgrading discharge piping to be more efficient and meet current mechanical and electrical codes - Carrying out a flow capacity study along with a discharge pipe and downstream condition assessment - Optimizing pump discharge and increasing pump system efficiency by completing inflow monitoring, and specifying pumps that would operate steadily at a higher efficiency throughout the anticipated flow range - Incorporating a permanent bypass arrangement to enable continuous service of the pump station and minimize future disruptions of service - Raising the entire pump control system out of the dry well and installing an above grade weatherproof cabinet to improve long-term operational safety - Providing additional ventilation in the wet well in order to provide a safe work environment to operations staff
