Description
Description | Construction of a new Chemical Building at the City of Brandon Water Treatment Plant will modernize the production, storage, unloading and containment of chemicals required in the treatment processes. The intent is to replace the current disinfection system, centralize ancillary chemical systems, and add orthophosphate dosing to bring the finished drinking water into compliance with the Canadian guidelines and Provincial regulations. The new building and process systems would also provide a safer environment with the facility and within the community by moving away from the current chlorine gas based disinfection system. |
