Description | The project presented is solely for the portion of the road outside Parc national du Mont-Tremblant, Société des établissements de plein air du Québec (SÉPAQ), and consists of improving Chemin des Cyprès to link the recreational and tourist centres surrounding Parc national du Mont-Tremblant in the Lanaudière region. On completion of the work, the 25 km Chemin des Cyprès will have two three-metre traffic lanes, a metre of paved shoulder and a half-metre of crushed gravel shoulder, allowing vehicles to travel at 50 km/h and incorporating a shared-lane cycle lane on a scenic tourist route between Saint-Donat and Saint-Michel-des-Saints. Note that this road will be reserved for motorbikes, cars and bicycles. |
