Chez Shay House Remodel

completed

Extensive remodel of a century-old home near Lake Washington in Seattle's Pritchard Island neighborhood. The project involved adding a second story with a primary suite, reshaping living spaces by removing interior walls and reinforcing the structure with steel beams, updating the kitchen and bathrooms, reconfiguring the basement to include a separate dwelling unit, and enhancing exterior spaces with patios and a steel canopy. The design emphasizes preserving the home's quirky charm while improving functionality and taking advantage of the lakeside site.
