Description | In Jul 2011, a local private company Kaidi Electric Power signed an agreement with the Chibi Municipal Government to build and operate a biomass power plant in Liushanhu Town, Chibi City, Hubei Province. Over 25% of construction had been completed by Aug 2012 according to a news article with a photo of the site. The total investment was RMB 326.18 million (US$ 51.69 million) and Kaidi had a 100% stake in it. The capacity of the power plant was 30MW. Concession term of the agreement was not reported in the media. Very possibly Kaidi secured the job through direct negotiation. |
