Chicago Bears New Stadium Project

planned

The Chicago Bears are exploring the possibility of building a new stadium in Northwest Indiana due to stalled negotiations with Illinois state leaders regarding a tax break for a proposed stadium in Arlington Heights. The project involves building a new stadium and an entertainment district, with the Bears funding over $2 billion but seeking public assistance for local infrastructure such as roads, utilities, and site improvements. Indiana has passed legislation to create a commission to attract the Bears to Northwest Indiana, and local leaders there are welcoming the potential move.
