Description | The project involves the development of a new 500 kV single-circuit electric power transmission line connecting Chile and Argentina. The 26.7 kilometers of extension line will run from the new Los Cóndores Electrical Substation (SE) to the Argentinian border. The scope of works includes the construction of 220/500 kV GIS electrical substation at Nueva SE Los Cóndores and 26.7 km long 500 kV single-circuit electric power transmission line with 72 supporting structures in a total area of 239.76 hectares.The project will facilitate the import and export of electricity between both countries. |
