Madhya Bhotekoshi Jalavidhyut Company Limited (MBJCL), subsidiary of Chilime Hydropower Company Limited (CHCL), was planning the development of the 102MW Middle Bhotekoshi Hydroelectric Project (MBKHEP). Chilime was 51% owned by Nepal Electricity Authority. The equity structure was as follows: Chilime Hydropower Company: 38% Nepal Electricity Authority: 10% Employees: 4.5% Contributors of Employee Fund: 19.5% Project affected people: 10% General Public: 15% The project consisted of three Francis Vertical Axis turbines, of 36MW each. The transmission line was 4km, 220kV. The PPA was signed on 14 November 2011. Financial closure was reported as completed, but a date was not available. Construction was scheduled to start January 2013. EIA study was in final stage, land aquisition was in progress. Financial closure date was estimated at January 2012.
