Chilkoot Way Active Transportation Improvements will provide an accessible route connecting the existing Riverfront and Two Mile Hill multi-use paved paths. The key components to be achieved with this project include: replacement of narrow sidewalk with 0.36km of 3m wide multi-use paved pathway, 1 new pedestrian crossing, signage, crossing markings at high conflict areas, and improved lighting as required. This cycling route will connect downtown schools, the Whitehorse Health Clinic, workplace and retail destinations along the riverfront, and routes between neighbourhoods.
