Description | The Chilliwack Design and Construction of Organic Food Waste Receiving and Pre-Processing Station & Digester #4 project will include organic food waste receiving and pre-processing equipment for food waste and modifications/upgrades to the wastewater treatment facility. A new digester and an organic food waste pre-processing station will be built at the wastewater treatment facility to meet the increased capacity requirements to introduce food waste into the facility for solids digestion, with ultimate conversion of biogas to bio-methane and connection to the FortisBC grid. The project works will include: - site works; - structural; - process and building mechanical; - electrical and instrumentation and controls; and - digester upgrades. |
