Construction began in 2021 and was completed in 2025. The reservoir has a 350-foot asphalt-core dam, the largest of its kind in the U.S., and will hold 90,000 acre-feet of water. Initial filling began in April 2026 with 1,500 acre-feet to conduct real-world uranium testing and evaluate reservoir infrastructure before full operation. |
