Description

The project comprises the construction of Wuzhou Cangwu Liubao Phase III wind power and energy storage integrated base with the sponsorship of China Resources Power. Construction work started on December 9th, 2024. The total investment of the project is $128.7 m or 935 million yuan. It is planned to install 28 wind turbines with a single unit capacity of 6.25MW and a total installed capacity of 175MW. At the same time, a new 220kV booster station will be built to connect to the 220kV Qirong substation to complete power transmission. After the project is completed and put into operation, it is estimated that it will save 100,600 tons of standard coal each year, reduce sulfur dioxide emissions by about 7,575 tons, nitrogen oxides by about 3,787 tons, and greenhouse gas carbon dioxide emissions by about 24.9 tons. https://wind.imarine.cn/news/107035.html
