Description | The China WindPower Gaoyouhu Wind Farm Project was a 49.5MW phase I of 300MW wind farm located in Gaoyouhu, Tianchang City, Anhui Province, China and being developed by China WindPower Group. Construction of the project commenced in August 2011, but debt financing was raised in January 2012. China WindPower had a 100% stake in the project. The total investment was RMB 3000 million (US$ 475.44 million) to develop a total capacity of 300MW. The 1st phase had a capacity of 49.5MW and its investment was RMB 406.53 million(US 64.43 million). Debt was sourced from the state owned China Agricultural Bank and the debt/equity ratio was 80:20. Construction commenced in Aug 2011 and some generators started to operate in June 2012. |
