Description | Hope Village is preparing for a major expansion project at its tiny home village in Chippewa Falls to address increasing demand for their services. The expansion includes constructing two six-unit apartment buildings, two duplex buildings, and a multi-purpose building, adding a total of 16 new apartment units of varying sizes. The multi-purpose building will have offices, a meeting room, and a workshop. Additionally, a new playground is planned. The project is funded through a capital campaign, state grants, and federal funding, with construction expected to complete next year. Hope Village is also renovating the former Indianhead Motel site to add 26 affordable efficiency units, with completion expected in September. |
