Chlorine Booster System & Distribution Upgrades

The project consists of the construction of a chlorine booster station to allow chlorine residual throughout the system, and the provision of post hydrants. The Town currently has no ability to flush their distribution lines to help alleviate problems with build-up on the inside of their water mains. The scope of the project includes the construction of the booster station and the installation of 40 meters of local water pipes. The project also includes the provision of hydrants which will allow the implementation of a flushing program that will improve water quality. The project aims to achieve chlorine residuals throughout sections of the Town where these are currently not present. The project will benefit the community by increasing access to potable water.
