Description
Description | The project will upgrade the chlorine gas system at a water treatment facility in Orillia, Ontario. The work involves installing new equipment (dry media emergency gas scrubber, shutoff valves on chlorine tonners, chlorine tonner scales and trunnions), rehabilitating ventilation and heating controls, decommissioning old equipment (wet packed-tower emergency chlorine gas scrubber), replacing doors, door hardware and seals, and installing an enclosure over the existing monorail system on the building exterior. The project will fund improvements to water treatment facilities, which will increase access to potable water by increasing the reliability and efficiency of the water treatment infrastructure. |
