Chobe Zambezi Water Transfer Scheme Project in Botswana

The project involves the transfer of water from the Chobe/Zambezi River to meet the growing needs of Botswana. The scope of work encompasses 270 𝑴𝒎𝟑/a for the Zambezi Integrated Agro-Commercial Development Project in Pandamatenga. The first section of the pipeline, spanning approximately 110 km, will connect Kazungula to Pandamatenga. Additionally, 225 𝑴𝒎𝟑/a will be supplied to demand nodes in the eastern and southern parts of the country for industrial and commercial purposes. The second part of the pipeline, comprising six sections, will extend approximately 1300+ km. The project is divided in following seven sections: First part, Section 1 expands from Kazungula to Pandamatenga Second part is divided in 6 sections:•Section 1: Kazungula to Pandamatenga •Section 2: Pandamatengato Nata •Section 3: Nata to Maun •Section 4: Nata BPT + PS to BPT 3 •Section 5: BPT 3 to Orapa / Letlhakane •Section 6: BPT 3 to Moralane BPT+PS •Section 7: Moralane BPT to Gaborone (NSC 3).
