Chongqing Bishan Vocational Education Center Extension Project

completed

The Chongqing Bishan Vocational Education Center (CBVEC) in the Bishan District of Chongqing is planning an expansion of the existing campus, which includes the construction of new buildings and the expansion and modernization of teaching equipment. The CBVEC is a state-run intermediate vocational school with training courses in the areas of smart manufacturing and tourism and management services. With an available capacity for 2,700 students, the school currently has 3,500 enrolled students, significantly exceeding its capacity limits. The inadequate equipment with training equipment also has a negative impact on the quality of training. The total cost of the project is EUR 41.4 million. The FC funding loan of EUR 20.0 million will finance the construction of three new buildings and the procurement of equipment for the practical training of the students.
