Church-to-School Adaptive Reuse Projects

planned

This project involves converting vacant church buildings into educational facilities such as public, charter, and independent schools. The adaptive reuse aims to preserve the architectural and historical significance of the churches while addressing the growing demand for school capacity in walkable, transit-served neighborhoods. The project includes technical feasibility studies, stakeholder engagement, and phased design and construction strategies to transform sacred spaces into functional learning environments.
