Description | In December 2011, Berlin Wasser signed an agreement with the Chuzhou Municipal Government to build and operate the Chuzhou City No. 2 Wastewater Treatment Plant in Chuhou City, Anhui Province. The capacity of the facility was 50,000 cubic meters per day (phase 1). The total investment was RMB 150 million (US$ 23.77 million) and Berlin Wasser had a 100% stake in the project. The concession term of the project was 29 years including 1 year for construction. The agreement was granted following an open bidding process. Construction commenced in Feb 2012 and the facility came into operation in Oct 2012. At least 25% of construction had been achieved by Apr 2012. |
