The partners support SMEs and VSEs in their intelligent strategy measures in the border area to increase their competitiveness. On the other hand, they support the Aisne, northern France and Walloon areas in strengthening their economic and social development at cross-border level thanks to territorial intelligence. This way, the regions develop while building on local skills and know-how and stimulating innovation and the emergence of new projects. The longer-term objective is to enable the regions to better know and master their economy so as to gain competitiveness and reactivity when facing a changing environment. For the economic and social development of the cross-border area, the partners target four strategic sectors: nutrition and health, logistics and transport, recovery and recycling of waste, and textiles and new materials. The project is aimed at two types of businesses: debutants in economic intelligence and experts. Once they are made aware of the strategic intelligence concept, the companies, supported by experts, establish strategic intelligence measures or solicit the performance of economic information missions to increase their development and presence on the cross-border, European or international economic scene.
