The Eurocluster CircInWater will boost the triple transitions of European industrial ecosystems by developing and implementing supporting measures for European SMEs addressing the lack of water-smart solutions in the most pressing and vulnerable industries. Built on the strong foundations of the S3 platform Water Smart Territories (WST), CircInWater will lead the green transition of key EU industrial ecosystems towards a clean, circular, and climate neutral economy, accelerate the digital leap by facilitating the uptake of intelligent solutions and build resilience by anticipating changes. By operating as a cross-sectoral, interdisciplinary, and transnational network, the project will create the capacity and new market opportunities for SMEs at local, national, European, and global scale through unique innovation, training and international vouchers. CircInWater is built on a highly skilled and complementary consortium bringing together 4 leading water clusters (ZINNAE, SWA, AQUANOVA*, BEM) and 1 innovation support center (ICOK). CircInWater’s partners have a long track record of EU level collaborations and can already demonstrate a number of shared success stories such as the S3 partnership WST. CircInWater Eurocluster will foster transition pathways by connecting key stakeholders in water value chains and key industrial ecosystems at EU level for worldwide impact. The project goals are deeply aligned with the SDGs, the updated 2020 New Industrial Strategy and the European Green Deal goals. * AQUANOVA has replaced FWT due to the governmental decision to liquidate FWT.
