Description
Description | We leave in a world of rapid change and constant skill building in order to have a fair employability chance. The main rapid change the last generations are facing is Climate change. Several initiatives and actions have been implemented the last decades to mitigate climate change impacts. One of them is the concept of circular economy businesses that aims at better environmental practices in several sectors. Through this rapid changes and constant efforts young people make to ameliorate themselves some youth people do not have the option to be included in education or employment (NEET) for several reasons that could be either financial or personal. The aim of the CENEET project is to ameliorate those people employability potential and steer them towards more environmentally aware choices and practices in their work and personal life. Five partners (TAG GREEN, MoNS,CYC Brussels,Microkosmos, SUDWIND) from four European countries (Greece, Belgium, Italy ,Austria) will collaborate in order to offer NEET populations the chance at better employability through environmental means. The partner countries will exchange good practices concerning circular economy, will promote green skills to the participants as well as perform a gap analysis of legislative parameters that might facilitate or act as obstacles at the implementation of circular economy businesses. Four mobilities will take place that will include study visits in circular economy oriented businesses of each partner country to offer the participants experiential knowledge and understanding. Environmental awareness and green skills development will also be key aspects of the project throughout all the activities and trainings. The concept is to understand what NEET people need and want and help them achieve a fair chance of employability compared to the rest of EU youth population. The green skills and the environmental importance understanding will act as added valued tools in NEET people. Before |
