Cirrec Advanced Tray-to-Tray Recycling Facility Upgrade

operational with recent upgrade

Cirrec BV, part of the Faerch Group, operates a state-of-the-art recycling facility in Duiven, The Netherlands, specializing in advanced tray-to-tray recycling of post-consumer PET packaging into new food-grade trays. In 2024, the plant installed multiple Tomra flake sorting units to enhance sorting capabilities, improve purity of recycled PET flakes, and double the processing capacity to 60,000 tons per year. The facility uses Tomra's Innosort Flake and Autosort Flake machines to separate mixed-color and natural content and remove contaminants, enabling high-quality food-grade recycled material production.
