ARENA support will enable the Climate Council to scale up the program, expanding its membership and increasing program resources.How the project worksThe Cities Power Partnership program brings together local governments from around the country to accelerate Australia’s transition to a renewable energy future. Those who join the partnership pledge to take five key actions across renewable energy, energy efficiency, sustainable transport and working together.To accelerate success, partners gain access to the extensive online knowledge hub, expert briefings, webinars with topic experts and the Power Analytics tool. They are also buddied with two other local councils to knowledge share and receive national and local media opportunities and exposure. |
