Description
Description | This proposal aims to build upon the existing wealth of knowledge, expertise and network of SOLIDAR Foundation (SF) while introducing innovative elements for its further development. The work plan includes advocacy and capacity-building activities for the EP Elections, to promote an ambitious agenda for education policies at EU level and to stress the relevance of non-formal and informal learning to achieve the objectives of the EEA and DEAP, among others. The work plan ensures a sound and strategic management of the organisation based on democratic structures (WP1), steering and supporting the aims set out for activities both in the advocacy (WP2) and capacity-building (WP3) realms. Both will count on a robust communication and dissemination plan (WP4). Advocacy activities have 3 intertwined focuses based on the themes and priorities of this Call: a) the correlation between Global Citizenship Education and democratic participation; b) awareness raising for the EP Elections; c) promotion of an education agenda at EU level driven by equity, inclusion and participation. Outputs: effective evidence-based publications (2) and 6 events supported by a communication campaign for the Elections (WP4). Capacity-building activities support the advocacy priorities, with a focus on: a) the twin transitions and cooperation with public authorities; b) inclusive education policies with regards to migration; c) building a hub of resources for members to develop knowledge, foster peer learning and community building. Outputs: 3 Training activities and 2 collections of resources for MOs. This results in a well-rounded mobilisation for the Elections by our members and the capacity to advocate on these priorities towards the EU policymakers, along with the strengthened ability of the network to contribute to EU policies at large. Target group: 53 MOs, policymakers, people of all ages and underserved communities in 24 E+ countries. |
