Description | The proposed phase 2 project will improve wastewater treatment by building a new activated sludge treatment plant in Chilliwack and decommissioning the failing trickling filter facility to address Municipal Wastewater Regulation operational redundancy requirements and increase treatment capacity. The project works include: - Installation of bioreactor train structures with aeration cells; - Installation of aeration systems including recirculation piping and equipment; - Installation of slide gates and weirs; - Installation of a turbo blower; - decommissioning of trickling filter facility; and, - related civil, mechanical, and electrical works. |
