Description

The proposed project will consist of the installation of 1,050 square yards of 4" thick sidewalk along with streetlights along the south side of S.R. 117 in the City limits of Jacksonville. The project will start at the intersection of U.S. 441 and S.R. 117, and continue to Magnolia Street, approximately 1,890 linear feet. Beginning at U.S 441 to 550 feet east, 8" x 30" concrete curb and gutter will be added to the edge of existing pavement with a 2 foot grassed area and 5 foot sidewalk and catch basins as needed. The existing asphalt driveways will remain, the rest of the asphaltic concrete will be removed and either have sidewalk or be grassed to existing right of way. All existing driveways will be paved with 6 inches of concrete from the edge of pavement to the back of the sidewalk. Minor drainage improvements will be required.
