Description | Canada is funding the Recipient to procure and deploy 20 zero emission buses (ZEBs). The Project will also include infrastructure upgrades to the Recipient’s Transit Operations Centre at 333 Winnipeg Street to support charging infrastructure and utility upgrades to support future deployment of additional battery electric buses. The Project will gradually replace diesel buses with ZEBs and directly contribute to improving environmental sustainability by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The Project will support the transition to a fully electric fleet by 2046 as set out in the Regina Transit Master Plan. |
