Description

Description

Building on its established expertise, the EFIL aims to strengthen its network as the largest volunteer-led European youth mobility organisation offering long-term individual mobility programmes to 15-18 years old. Bridging youth work, non-formal and school education, the EFIL network will deliver more and better quality mobility, intercultural learning, and active global citizenship opportunities for a broader range of young people. The initiatives outlined in this FPA will CONNECT young people, offering them cross-border opportunities to ENGAGE and EMPOWER them. Thanks to increased outreach activities and cross-sectoral cooperation, EFIL will promote youth participation and volunteering through learning mobility. The FPA objectives, addressing the EFIL Draft Strategy 2026-2028 and Call priorities are: 1) Provide the perspective of youth civil society organisations in policy making. 2) Promote youth participation through increased outreach and awareness raising on learning mobility and active global citizenship. 3) Promote youth participation through dedicated youth spaces. 4) Build capacity of youth workers and youth on active citizenship, including its digital dimension. The planned activities are expected to yield progress in EU and national learning mobility policies, particularly for individual pupil mobility, and increase EFIL members' policy engagement. Our efforts will focus on the implementation of the current EU Youth Strategy, while contributing to the building of the next one, and providing input for the shaping of the new Erasmus+ and ESC programmes 2028-2034, and the achievement of Europe on the Move. EFIL members and schools will collaborate to increase diverse youth's access to learning mobility and active global citizenship education, while striving to advance its quality. EFIL will elevate youth voices via its Youth Advisory Committee and EU Youth Dialogue involvement, enabling more young volunteers to build leadership skills.
