A project company, Cixi Yangtze River Wind Power Company Limited, was established to build and then operate the wind farm in Cixi City, Zhejiang Province under a 20 year agreement. Construction commenced in November 2006. The total investment was 600 million Yuan (US$ 75.28 million) and King Ring owned 25% of the project with the remaining 75% interest held by Three Gorge Development Corporation. The capacity of the wind farm was 49.5 MW. |
