Cleanopolis Energy Systems India Private Limited CESIPL was incorporated with a vision to explore the synergy between waste to energy and empowerment. The main objective of the company is to develop, harness, generate, & supply electricity and manure to end users by setting up dispersed mini biomass plants. The company is setting up a Greenfield multi fuel merchant power plant at the Industrial Growth Center IGC in Ghoramari, in Sonitpur District of Assam, India, as proof of concept for its business venture. CESIPL is on course to commence commercial production in June 2012, as the first grid connected biomethanation plant in the North East Region NER. Future plans comprise of completing the registration process for certified emission reduction units under the UNFCCC frame work for clean development mechanisms. Cleanopolis also aims to develop a producer gas model capable of providing captive power, heat & chilling solutions that are customised for remote off grid users to complement its biomethanation plants. Our models seek to convert biomass to energy to create local empowerment. Cleanopolis aims to integrate ever wider geographies with small green field units in the developing world that are tailor made for local conditions through energy franchisee partners. We believe that the foundation for our model can be derived from Indias human boom as she becomes the most populous nation in the world by 2030, aggravated further by limited land at her disposal, when compared to China. Cleanopolis seeks to address this anomaly by up scaling abundantly available waste generated per capita in India, to precious and scarce grid connected energy and organic manure.
